Wood Quay excavation report
No report on the Wood Quay excavations has been published, though the finds were reported. The Minister pressed the National Museum’s Director to produce an interim report as soon as possible and said he had been assured it would be done.
asked the Minister for Education if any report on any of the archaeological excavations carried out at Wood Quay by the National Museum have yet been published; if so, when and where; and if the finding of objects there has been reported in accordance with the terms of section 23 of the National Monuments Act, 1930.

Will the Minister state when he expects publication of the results of this survey? Does he expect that an interim report will be published in view of the great public interest in Wood Quay?

As I indicated when answering an earlier question, I am concerned that at least an interim report should be made available, and I have indicated to the Director of the National Museum that he should apply himself to having this done as soon as possible. I have been assured by him that it will be done, and I hope the interim report will be available as soon as possible.
