asked the Minister for Economic Planning and Development if it is proposed to publish a Green Paper on the Economy, and if so, when.

It is the Government's intention to continue the publication of White and Green Papers as part of their arrangements for the planning of economic and social development. At present work is proceeding in my Department and in other Departments on such papers and I expect to have at least one and possibly two of these papers published this year.

Will there be one before the Summer Recess?

No, into the autumn months.
