asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the very poor state of repair of the Garda houses in Carlow town and the steps he proposes to take to remedy the situation.

I am aware of the need for repairs to these houses. Tender documents for the works required have been prepared and tenders will be invited before the end of next week.
