Repeating Question No. 1

Summary

At the Chair’s request, the Minister repeats an answer, noting it had already been given and recorded.

Joseph Brennan An Ceann Comhairle Fianna Fáil

I should like to apologise to the Minister for Question No. 1 appearing on the Order Paper again today. In deference to the request of Deputy B. Desmond, who said that he did not hear the reply in the turmoil yesterday, I am reluctantly compelled to have it repeated. Would the Minister mind answering it again?

In deference to the Chair, I will do so. But, of course, if the Deputy had that difficulty, the turmoil did not come from this side of the House.

The Minister is as graceful as ever.

I am doing so in deference to the Chair and not otherwise. I am pointing out that the question has been answered and appears on the record of the House. I assume that this is the first time the same question has been answered twice.
