Ownership of the Earlsfort Terrace building

Summary

Kelly asked whether the State or University College owned the building being converted. The Minister said the Office of Public Works looked after it but could not confirm ownership; the Chair treated ownership as a separate question.

I am not quite certain what the answer to this question is—who owns the whole building at present? Is it the State or the university?

I think that is a separate question but if the Minister wishes he may answer it.

The Office of Public Works look after that building in Earlsfort Terrace.

But does the Office of Public Works own the building which is now being turned into a concert hall?

Comment on this

I do not have that information.

The Minister does not know who owns the building he is working on? Surely the Minister is aware whether the State owns the building in regard to which this question is put down?

It is a separate question.
