Cabinet absence during Question Time

Summary

FitzGerald questions whether Question Time can proceed without a Cabinet Minister; the Chair says a quorum suffices, followed by political banter before Question No. 1 is called.

On a point of order, is there any precedent for Question Time being taken when there is no member of the Cabinet present? Is it in order?

The Chair has no function in that matter; a quorum is all that is necessary for the Chair.
