asked the Taoiseach the number of people unemployed in Moate, County Westmeath, in June 1977, June 1978 and June 1979.

The information requested by the Deputy is not available. There is no local employment office in the town of Moate. Total figures for the numbers of persons on the live register residing in different counties and in towns with legally defined boundaries are compiled in respect of a date at the end of each month, but since the town of Moate has no legally defined boundary, information on this basis is not available.
