asked the Taoiseach if in view of the vast amount of parliamentary, administrative and other duties in the Departments of Health and Social Welfare he will appoint a Minister of State for these two Departments.

The Departments to which the new Ministers of State will be assigned will be indicated to the Dáil in due course.
