asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in carrying out an inspection in respect of a reconstruction grant for an applicant (details supplied) in County Kerry.

: Delay in dealing with this case has been due to the exceptionally heavy number of applications for housing grants received from all parts of the country. Arrangements have been made for an inspection which will be carried out as soon as possible.
