Irish citizens in the Philippines

Summary

Mitchell asks how many Irish citizens are in the Philippines and what protection the Government offers; Lenihan will obtain the number and says no complaints of mistreatment by Philippine authorities have been made.

Jim Mitchell Mr. Mitchell Fine Gael

Would the Minister say how many Irish citizens are there in the Philippines, in view of the fact that there are many Irish missionaries, many employees of the ESB and some other Irish people there?
