asked the Minister for Education the minimum area of ground necessary for the proposed post-primary school at Shankill, County Dublin; whether a site of this size has already been acquired for this purpose; and when it is expected that work on the building of this school will begin.

Negotiations for the acquisition of a site of about ten acres are proceeding. Pending further progress in relation to the acquisition of a site and subsequent planning of the proposed building, it is not possible at this stage to say when building work may commence.
