asked the Minister for Education when a decision will issue on the matter of a school bus service for Dunshaughlin College, County Meath, in view of the correspondence (details supplied) between the chief educational officer of County Meath and his Department.

An extension as requested of the special bus route to Dunshaughlin post-primary centre to facilitate students living in the Ardcath area would involve a considerable encroachment of the Drogheda catchment area. I am having the situation in relation to the other areas in question investigated and a decision in relation to this aspect of the matter will be expedited as much as possible.
