Criminagh-Leic group water scheme
The scheme design was accepted and approved in 1980; an application for a special contribution toward the headworks is under examination, so a start date is not yet available.
asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the proposed Criminagh-Leic group water supply scheme, Lettermore, County Galway and when work will commence on the scheme.
Comment on this
In April 1980 the council informed the Department that they accepted the design for the scheme and approval issued to the group for the scheme. An application for a special contribution towards the cost of the headworks of the scheme is at present under examination and a decision will be reached in the matter shortly. I am not at present in a position to indicate when the scheme will get under way.
