asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if, in view of the Government's position regarding the participation of employees of State and semi-State Bodies in the forthcoming Olympic games, he will re-consider his attitude to such persons taking part in the British and Irish rugby tour taking place in South Africa.

The answer is "no". I have already stated the Government's position in regard to Irish participation in the "Lions" Rugby Tour of South Africa.
