asked the Minister for the Environment if he will reconsider his decision not to approve the creation of an assistant county manager for County Louth.

My decision not to create an office of Louth Assistant County Manager was made in the light of all the circumstances. If circumstances change or fresh evidence comes to light I shall of course look again at the matter but obviously I could not predict now what the outcome of any such consideration would be.
