‹ Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meetings with Foreign Heads of State. Foreign meetings and summer travel
Summary
The Taoiseach said announcements about foreign meetings and official trips would follow normal practice; he had no immediate plans to meet Margaret Thatcher.
asked the Taoiseach the plans he has to meet foreign Heads of State and Government; and the trips abroad on Government business he intends to undertake during the summer recess.
Comment on this
It is normal practice for an announcement on these matters to be made, at a pre-agreed time, in the countries concerned. I intend to continue to observe that practice.
