I presume the Deputy is referring to a drainage grant under the farm modernisation scheme.
The applicant is classed as a development farmer and is therefore, required to keep farm accounts. Payment of the grant cannot be made until the applicant submits the appropriate extract to confirm that he has, in fact, kept the necessary accounts.
