Deasy asked whether CIE would meet its 1980 budget target; Flynn said a supplementary estimate had already provided £14 million in additional subvention.

asked the Minister for Transport if it is expected that CIE will remain within the financial target for 1980 set in the budget or if a Supplementary Estimate will be required.

As the Deputy is aware a Supplementary Estimate was passed on 5 November for my Department which made provision for additional subvention of £14 million for CIE in the current year.
