asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism if he will request the IDA to provide an advance factory in Gorey, County Wexford in view of the high level of unemployment in the town.

I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority are considering an advance factory for Gorey under the next phase of their advance factory programme.

The authority have an 8.6 acre industrial site in the town which they are vigorously promoting for a suitable industrial project.
