An extension is being provided and it is expected that the installation will be completed in the first half of next year. It cannot be brought into service, however, until an extension to the trunk exchange at Skibbereen is completed in the third quarter of next year.

Service is dependent on provision of a considerable length of underground cable which is scheduled for completion in the second half of 1981. Service will be provided as soon as possible after that.
