asked the Minister for Health if he will add Addison's Disease (adrenal insufficiency) to the list of long term illnesses for which free medicines are made available.

Addison's Disease is one of a number of conditions which has been considered from time to time for inclusion in the Long Term Illness Scheme. It will continue to be borne in mind in connection with any future extension of the scheme.
