asked the Minister for Health (a) the position regarding property purchased some years ago by the National Rehabilitation Board at Castlerea, County Roscommon and (b) when work of a reconstruction nature will commence.

I presume the Deputy is referring to property acquired by the Rehabilitation Institute, a voluntary body which provides vocational training and sheltered work for the handicapped.

I understand that, due to legal difficulties, the acquisition of the property by the Institute has only recently been completed. The conversion of the premises is now being considered but I cannot yet say when it will commence.
