Waterford live register figures

Summary

Collins requested Waterford’s live-register figures for June and December since 1977 and an assessment of the trend; Calleary said the figures supplied were month-end figures, not mid-month.

Edward Collins Mr. E. Collins Fine Gael

asked the Minister for Finance the number on the live register in Waterford in mid-June and mid-December in each year since 1977; and if he is satisfied with the trend the figures reflect.

Seán Calleary Mr. Calleary Fianna Fáil

I take it that the Deputy is referring to Waterford city. The following are the figures requested. They relate to the end of the months in question rather than the middle.
