asked the Minister for Health whether he intends to introduce legislation to allow dental auxiliaries to be legalised here.

I intend to introduce a new Dentists Bill in the near future. Provision will be made in that Bill to enable the employment of auxiliaries, such as hygienists and dental therapists, in dental services in Ireland.
