asked the Minister for Education how soon he expects to formulate definite budgetary plans for the arts education appointments.

The education activities promoted by adult education organisers with specific duties related to the arts are financed from the general financial resources available to the vocational education committees. It is a matter for vocational education committees to make appropriate arrangements in accordance with the provisions of circular letter No. 42/79 of Lúnasa 1979 to formulate plans in accordance with which the adult education organisers would discharge their functions.
