asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism the plans, if any, the Industrial Development Authority have for the utilisation of the land which that body acquired in the Tarbert-Ballylongford area of County Kerry.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they own 283 acres of land at Ballylongford, County Kerry. This site is suitable for heavy industries which require access to deep water facilities and is being promoted for such industries by the IDA.
