asked the Taoiseach the increase in the number of unemployed during the period June, 1977 to date.

The number of persons on the live register on 27 February 1981 was 126,256 which represented an increase of 22,720 over the corresponding figure of 103,536 for 24 June 1977.

Can the Minister give any figure which is higher than the figure last month?

Will the Minister please answer Ceist 5?

The increase in the number of people in employment is much greater.

The Minister would need Deputy O'Donoghue to explain that. He is the only one who understands that equation.
