In accordance with the Circuit Court Rules, 1954, each county registrar prepares, every three years, a list of the accounts of the unclaimed funds or dormant balances held by him on behalf of the Circuit Court and he exhibits the list in his office. A copy of the list is also published in "Iris Oifigiúil". The latest composite list of all such accounts was published in "Iris Oifigiúil" on 26 December 1980. The list contains only the titles in alphabetical order of the accounts and does not disclose the amounts standing to the credit of the dormant balances account. In the time available it has not been possible to obtain figures in respect of these accounts, but I am arranging to have the figures compiled and will have them forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
The investment of the funds in under the direction of the circuit judge.
