asked the Minister for Finance when drainage works will commence on the Boyle catchment area including the Lurg river, in County Roscommon; and the up-to-date position regarding these works.

The statutory procedures in connection with the preparation of the Boyle drainage scheme are nearing completion and it is expected that works will commence later this year.
