asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry if he will make a statement on the present position regarding the pier at Crosshaven, County Cork.

Crosshaven Harbour has two piers. The main pier is a masonry and concrete one, with steps leading to a low landing deck. A second masonry pier is near the main pier.

The pier facilities are adequate for fishing boats. There are no proposals before me for any improvement works at this harbour.
