Donegal housing allocations for 1981
The Minister listed 1981 capital allocations for Donegal and its urban district councils, noting that each housing authority decides how to apportion funds among housing types and schemes.
asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of money allocated in 1981 for (1) SI houses, (2) demountable houses and (3) county council housing schemes in County Donegal.

On 24 April 1981 capital allocations of £2,040,000, £105,000, £35,000 and £130,000 in respect of their local authority housing programme were notified to Donegal County Council, Buncrana Urban District Council, Bundoran Urban District Council and Letterkenny Urban District Council respectively. The allocation notified to Donegal County Council included provision for SI cottages, demountable dwellings and scheme houses. It is a matter for each housing authority to apportion the available capital resources as between the various schemes, SI dwellings and so on, having regard to the relative urgency of need in the various locations within its functional area.
