Michael Woods Minister for Social Welfare (Dr. Woods) Fianna Fáil

The person concerned claimed disability benefit from 5 December 1977 and was paid regularly from that date to 25 April 1981 at the maximum appropriate rate. At that stage payment ceased because he failed to submit medical evidence of incapacity after January 1981.

Payment has now been resumed and all benefit due to 23 May 1981 has been issued. He has been reminded to resume the submission of medical certificates of incapacity at monthly intervals as heretofore.
