Comment on this
The unemployment benefit claim of the person concerned was disallowed for a period of six weeks by a deciding officer of my Department on the grounds that the claimant left her employment without good cause. The person concerned expressed dissatisfaction with this decision and her case has been referred to an appeals officer for determination. Arrangements have been made to have her case dealt with as expeditiously as possible. In the meantime, as the period of disqualification has expired, her claim to unemployment benefit, with effect from 1 July 1981, has been allowed and all unemployment benefit due has been paid.
