asked the Minister for the Environment when he will issue approval for the design documents which have been submitted by Drogheda Corporation for road improvements to Rathmullen Road and Marleys Lane, Drogheda, County Louth.

Plans for improvement works on these roads have not been submitted to my Department. The planning and execution of road works at these locations are matters wholly within the discretion of Drogheda Corporation and would not require my sanction.
