Fuel import quantities and costs

The Minister of State provided import quantities and costs for coal, coke, briquettes, gas oils and fuel oils for the 12 months to August 1981.

asked the Taoiseach the various forms of fuel being imported annually; and the current cost of each.

Coal, coke and briquettes 1,179,059 tonnes. The figure for gas oils is 892,356 tonnes and fuel oils 1,730,165 tonnes.

The Minister of State is talking about tonnes now but the question relates to costs.
