The Minister offered details of trade with Cuba for 1979, 1980 and January–August 1981. Principal imports included molasses and cigars; exports included butter, dried milk and tyres. In 1979 imports totalled £226,000 and exports £560,000; in 1980 imports were £1.459 million and exports £9.935 million.
