Dublin North-West unemployment
Dr. Byrne asked how unemployment in Dublin North-West compared with the national average and whether a crash employment programme was planned. The Minister said constituency figures were unavailable, he was unaware of the alleged fourfold rate and no programme was planned, but offered figures for individual employment exchanges.
(Dublin North-West) asked the Taoiseach the incidence of unemployment in the constituency of Dublin north-west compared with the national average.

(Dublin North-West): In view of the allegation that the Dublin North-West constituency has about four times the average unemployment rate, has the Minister any plans for a crash employment programme in that constituency?
