Written Answers. - Manorhamilton (Leitrim) Hospital Orthopaedic Appointment.
asked the Minister for Health when a consultant will be appointed for the orthopaedic unit at Manorhamilton Hospital, County Leitrim.

The orthopaedic unit was transferred from Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton to Sligo General Hospital in June 1981. The question of appointing a consultant to the orthopaedic unit at Manorhamilton does not, therefore, arise.
If the Deputy is referring to the post of consultant in rheumatology and rehabilitation for Our Lady's Hospital, Manor-hamilton, I would refer him to my reply to a question by Deputy Ellis in column 985, volume 330, of the Official Report of 3 November 1981.
