asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the erection of 54 local authority houses and six small type houses in Fermoy, County Cork, as they are needed urgently.

Cork County Council's proposals for a local authority housing scheme at Duntahane, Fermoy, have been the subject of a number of discussions between officials of my Department and of Cork County Council. At a meeting on 18 November 1981 it was agreed that a new design for the scheme should be prepared by the council and it is expected that this will be ready shortly.
