asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make finance available to Cork County Council for the construction of an urgently-needed new bridge in Glanworth, County Cork.

As the road in question is a county road, the financing of a new bridge to replace the existing bridge in Glanworth is the responsibility of the road authority within its "own resources", including the general or block grant allocated annually by my Department.
