asked the Minister for Defence the steps he proposes to take to deal with the grave shortage of FCA uniforms; if he is aware that FCA uniforms have been recalled and reissued to regular Army servicemen; and if he will indicate the position in relation to current contracts for Army uniforms.

I am advised that, while there was a temporary shortage during the summer of particular sizes of certain items of uniform, there are now adequate stocks of FCA uniforms available. The delivery position in relation to contracts for Army uniforms is satisfactory.
