James Tully Minister for Defence (Mr. Tully) Labour Party

I assume that the Deputy's question does not relate to appointments made through the normal recruitment machinery. On that basis the position is that one non-established officer who was appointed as personal assistant to the Minister for Defence was formerly employed by the Parliamentary Labour Party as a secretarial assistant.
