asked the Taoiseach the estimated value of (a) processed including chilled and frozen (i) beef, (ii) mutton and lamb, (iii) bacon and (b) cheese and other dairy products, imported into the EEC in 1981 from third countries.

The information requested by the Deputy concerning the value of certain imports into the EEC in 1981 from third countries has been sought from the Statistical Office of the European Communities but has not yet been received. If the Deputy would repeat the question in two weeks' time I shall supply him with the available information.
