asked the Minister for Transport the reason a person (details supplied) in County Galway, who was granted a special licence to convey workers by bus to Galway city, is subjected to intense competition from CIE despite the fact that CIE did not provide a service on the route in question.

I am looking into this matter at present and am not yet in a position to say what action, if any, is called for.
