asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when it is proposed to commence work on the premises acquired at Skibbereen, County Cork for use as a post office.

Completion of the architectural plans is awaited and until these are examined, it would be premature to say when work will commence. I hope that it may be possible to place a contract next year.
