Shatter requests Adjournment time to discuss planned administrative steps concerning the District Court’s new custody-case jurisdiction; the Ceann Comhairle will communicate with him.
Before Question Time I would like to ask for time on the Adjournment to deal with the problem of the administrative steps the Government are planning to take in the light of the provisions in the Courts Act, 1981, which will result in the District Court having jurisdiction to deal with custody cases.
