(Waterford) asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the acceptance of the tender by Waterford Corporation for the replacement of Redmond Bridge, Waterford.

Waterford Corporation have been advised that, as recommended by their consultants, certain matters require to be clarified before any contract is placed. As soon as I am notified of the outcome of these matters there will be no delay on my part in considering the corporation's proposal for acceptance of a tender.
