Rebuilding Limerick Model School

Summary

Noonan said rebuilding the all-Irish Model School in Limerick had not restarted since a 1976 fire, calling it a scandal; the Taoiseach undertook to look into the matter.

(Limerick East): Is the Taoiseach aware that the only all-Irish school in the mid-western region, the Model School in Limerick, was burned down in 1976 and that rebuilding has not yet been recommenced? That school is directly under the Department of Education and it is a scandal that the only all-Irish school in the whole region has not been recommenced.
