Department of Social Welfare properties in Dublin

Summary

The Minister listed departmental and OPW-owned properties in Dublin and confirmed that none is derelict.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will list the properties (i) owned or leased by his Department and (ii) occupied by his Department but owned by the Office of Public Works in Dublin County Borough at present; the properties which are considered to be derelict; and the action he proposes to take to bring them into use.

(Mayo West): My Department owns one property at Aras Mhic Dhiarmada, Store Street, Dublin 1 and leases one property at 7/8 Charlemont Street Dublin 2 in the area specified by the Deputy.

Properties which are occupied by my Department and owned by the Office of Public Works are the employment exchanges at Gardiner Street, Dublin 1; North Cumberland Street, Dublin 1; Werburgh Street, Dublin 8; and Navan Road, Dublin 7.

None of the properties is derelict.
