Special diets for Curragh prisoners

Summary

Asked whether medically required special diets would be restored, the Minister said prisoners whose conditions require them are receiving appropriate dietary arrangements.

Tony Gregory Mr. Gregory-Independent Independent

asked the Minister for Defence if he proposes to restore the special medical diets to those prisoners in the Curragh who need them and who had this right withdrawn recently.

Comment on this

I am satisfied that any prisoner in the Military Detention Barracks, Curragh Camp, whose medical condition requires it, is being catered for by appropriate special dietary arrangements.
